The Adira BB Bluebender fully electric Press Brake utilises a sturdy monoblock design, welded and then stabilised before machining. It also incorporates the Hexa C frame (except model 25.12). This ensures the moving upper beam guides are isolated from the side frames. Therefore the moving beam itself is not affected by stress during pressing and thus always maintaining perfect vertical alignment of the tools.
The Hexa C frame design is particularly beneficial when bending off centre. Beam parallelism, stopping accuracy and repeatability is better than 0.01mm.
The fully electric BB provides high-speed bends, simplicity in service, quiet operation and a dramatic reduction in power consumption.
The upper beam is driven directly by a ball screw, gear unit, and high-performance servo motor with overload protection. Each component is oversized for long life, and all drives include an automatic lubrication system. The bending depth (ram stopping point) is ensured by the servo-motor being directly controlled by the DNC.
The standard configuration for the BB Series Press Brake is five axes. Y1, Y2, X, R and CNC Crowning; however, with this model, there are many options available depending on operational requirements.

– Rear guards and side guards are monitored and duplicated for safety with electrical interlocks.
With a 500mm open height, 250mm stroke length and high-speed approach and return, the BB is not only accurate, safe and power-efficient, but it is also highly versatile.
