Manual Bandsaws

Our manual MEP bandsaws (or hydraulically controlled gravity feed steel bandsaws) are the best quality money can buy, and are ideal for short runs across a variety of materials.

Manual bandsaws are less costly than a semi automatic or automatic saw, and are ideal for the operator who cuts small diameter jobs. A manual bandsaw requires the operator to lift the head after each cut, but with its small footprint and excellent accuracy, this is a great option for the small workshop.

Our MEP range of saws starts from our MEP PH262CCS, to our best-selling MEP Shark 281 CCS. This saw has a capacity 280 x 220mm, mitres 0° to + 60° and can perform single cuts without an operator.  The largest of our manual bandsaws is the MEP Shark 332-1CCS Double Mitre Bandsaw which offers a capacity of 330 x 250mm RHS or 300mm.

These MEP saws are Italian made and manufactured, ensuring durability, accuracy and reliability for the life of the bandsaw.

At the heart of our Italian metal cutting bandsaws are the full cast iron bow and band wheels. These provide excellent stability and reduced vibration compared to traditional fabricated structures found in cheaper machines.

This construction allows you to run blade very high band tensions and combined with the direct gearbox drive (no belts or pulleys) and carbide blade guides you have the straightest, fastest cutting range of saws on the market.
